It's here, it's here, it's here! The Wild Things have arrived! The latest Spike Jonze film has been caught up in a flurry of controversy regarding its release and what-have-you, but it's finally happening! The film is set for an October 16th release.
The trailer looks sick as hell, I love that book! You can expect to see some massive midnight showings at theaters, it already has a bit of a cult following, but whatevs. Oh! And yes, that's Arcade Fire's "Wake Up" in the trailer; another bit of music-related news via The Playlist: Karen O (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) is set to head up almost the whole soundtrack! Apparently she and Jonze used to date...? Anyway--excitement abounds!
